Starting as a hardcore system software geek, I went through the journey to a full stack engineer and eventually to an engineering leader. A few incidents along my career development changed my view and re-shaped my mindset and career path.

During spare time, I teach Software Product Management Certificate evening classes at UW. In the past I have worked at Microsoft and Amazon on various roles such as Software Engineer, Program Manager, and Engineering Manager. Following my curiosity, my technical career journey went from low level system software all the way to end user UX. After working in Cloud Computing at full stack capacity, I moved into AI (Artificial Intelligence) area focusing on building AI Infrastructure that enables ML (Machine Learning) at scale. Over the course of my career my focus also expanded from pure technical work to product management, leadership, and teaching. My biggest passion is to help others grow, build high performing teams, and build high impact products with business success.
